Life Lessons
Embark on a metaphysical journey through life after death.
A fun-loving but reckless drunk, Betsy awakes to a dream state in which her caseworker approaches her with the news she has died. She remains unconvinced—that is until she sees herself being zipped up in a body bag.
Though the caseworker gives Betsy several weeks to say goodbye to friends and family, Betsy finds herself unable to communicate with the living but finds her friend Stevo can communicate with her. She begins a new relationship with him, but becomes angry when he will not do as she requests to resolve her unfinished business. Time runs out and Betsy is forced to ascend to the other side with unfinished business.
In her death journey, Betsy is greeted by many guides who, in an elaborate cabaret format, reveal to her the purpose of life. Betsy is also assigned a guide named Samo to take her through her life review. Through this, she must re-experience the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of her life.
Taking many events to her grave, Betsy is forced to confront painful, unfinished business in that lifetime, examining issues that shaped who she became. She is left with the choice of releasing these events or holding onto them for another lifetime.
An explosive journey through the afterlife that’s masterfully told, Life Lessons is the profound experience of discovering the magical metaphysical world of life after death.
