Neptune Rising

The series continues as we tell the story of the rise and fall of the ancient civilization of Atlantis. Kara’s surfer boyfriend, Alex, begins the tale while surfing Hawaii’s North Shore. When he swam out to catch a wave, a small humpback whale attacks him, pushing him off his board, then pulls him into a whirlpool, teleporting him into the remnants of Atlantis. The sea turtle Sheldon and seahorse assistants Jonah and Esmeralda, companions of Lord Neptune, inform him of his purpose to resurrect this lost civilization.

The Mur culture, also known as Mermaids, share their history of Atlantis and the destruction of their home planet, Euros. Finding sanctuary on Earth, they migrated all their planetary species, including whales, dolphins, and exotic aquatic fish species. This was the rise of Atlantis, establishing a peaceful relationship lasting for thousands of years.

The fall of Atlantis began with a devastating asteroid en route to collide with the Earth. A deceptive plan of the marooned Aries Soldiers unfolded as they acquired the technology to stop the asteroid from destroying Earth. Disguising themselves as peaceful beings, they soon revealed their dark plot, beginning a world war.

Millions of casualties mounted throughout years of fighting with the Aries Soldiers. The tide shifted in their favor as the Allies were overwhelmed, and were defeated in months of battles. To rescue the planet from the darkness, the Earth Council needed yo destroy the planet’s surface with a great flood, also known as Noah’s Flood. The goal of the destruction was to wipe out the darkness that infected the planet and to prevent the harvest of natural resources by the Aries Soldiers.
